Far from a beach, then surf a mountain!
ok i'll admit it, i'm getting old(er) and just can't ocean paddle and keep up with those 20-somethings these days like i used to. thank god for mountains! those perpetual, static "waves" that never break on your head or blast saltwater up your nose. sure, the hiking is tough, but once on top of that blackcomb glacier i become a kid again and grin while carving all the way down the 1.5 mile run. if you've been there or can at least visualize this, and would like to experience it then let me know!
